Our Aims

St. Joseph’s aim is to teach and lead the children, within the school community, to a knowledge and practice of the love of God and neighbour, in their development as Catholics, and to become integrated into Parish life.

Other aims are… 

i) The development of the child, intellectually, physically, emotionally and aesthetically.

ii) To develop “self-awareness” and “self-esteem” leading to self-confidence and motivation.

iii) To encourage the ability to function as a contributing member of co-operative groups and the local community.

iv) To fulfil its role in the partnership of school, parents and parish in the education of every child.

v) To provide for every child a broad, balanced curriculum according to his/her needs and abilities.
